Sherry Gale Penton, 42, was born Oct. 20, 1976. She was a resident of Franklinton, and died Monday, June 24, 2019, at her home. She was a very kind and loving person. She would go out of her way to help anyone in need.

She is survived by: one brother, Jeremy Penton (Candace), both of Franklinton; two sisters, Kerry Penton and Rhonda Harfield; her grandparents, Milton and Kathy Penton of Franklinton; and very special friends from Picayune and Springfield; and also numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Jerry and Rosa Penton; a grandmother, Dora McCain; and grandparents, James and Athlea Dykes, all of Franklinton.

There will be a little private memorial service at the Bogue Chitto River. She will then be joined together again with her parents at their final resting place.
