Edward “Boo” Charles Richardson died unexpectedly and peacefully in his home on Oct. 7, 2019, in Baton Rouge, at the age of 41. Edward was born on Jan. 10, 1978, in Bogalusa, to Clyde Owens and Sylvia Ann Richardson Scott.

Edward is survived by his mother, Sylvia Scott (Fred) of Bogalusa. He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons, Edward D. Fields of Arlington, Texas, and Robert Dyson of Bogalusa; three daughters, Ebony Lynch and Kianna Lynch of Baton Rouge, and Karmesha Harry of Bogalusa. He also leaves a brother, Clyde Richardson (Kenisha) of Mineral Wells, Texas; five sisters, Alexandria Richardson of Dallas, Texas, LaShayla Richardson (Johnathon) and Natalie Richardson of Biloxi, Miss., and Tabeetha Richardson (Melvin), and Lethea Richardson of Bogalusa; a special sister, Marquita Pigott of Bogalusa; and special cousin, Vanessa Sheridan of Florida City, Fla. He also leaves a special friend, Kimberly Lynch of Baton Rouge, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Owens; grandparents, Freddy Tyson, Althea Pigott, Olivia Weary and Marcell Owens; aunts, Jonell Pigott, Mattie Nell Owens, Mattie Sell Owens, and Emma Ball; uncles, Herman Pigott, Ronnell Sartin, J. L. Weary and Pulp Owens; great-grandma, Marline Richardson; and great- aunt, Mabel Richardson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 14, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., followed by family hour from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Second Baptist Church, located at 1412 North Ave. in Bogalusa, with the Rev. Darrel Self, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Bogalusa Cemetery.
