Frank Seymore Jr., 68, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019.

Frank was born July 31, 1951, in New Orleans, to the late Frank Seymore Sr. and Millie Burton-Kelley. He spent his early childhood in Fluker, and later relocated to Houston, Texas.

He was employed with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for over 35 years. Frank could not remain still and returned to the working community with Tulane National Primate Research Center.

Frank loved the Lord and confessed his life to Christ at an early age. Upon his return to Louisiana, he renewed his baptismal vows and became a member of Sweet Rest Baptist Church in Franklinton.

Frank loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. He had a great zest for life and love for the outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Seymore Sr. (Leona) and Millie Burton-Kelley.

He leaves his legacy of love to his loving wife, Jennie Seymore; children, Danielle Young (Olan), Javier Seymore, Frank Seymore IV, LaQuana Warren, Kanisha Warren, and Jerome Warren Jr.; grandchildren, Angel, Bryan, Destiny, Kaliajah, and Jerome; brother, Henry Winters; uncle, Samuel Burton; and a host of cousins and friends.

His generous spirit touched the lives of everyone he met in his own way. He was very special to his family, friends, and those he mentored. Frank will be deeply missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, Oct. 11, from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. (family hour 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.) at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

The Homegoing Celebration will be Saturday, Oct. 12, at 11 a.m. at Sweet Rest Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Norwert Hills Jr., pastor, officiating. Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Franklinton is in charge of arrangements.
