Mr. Charles Sharp passed away on Friday, Oct. 4, 2019, at his home in Bogalusa, at the age of 91. Mr. Charles was the most loving, kind person you would ever want to meet.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Winburn Sharp, of 53 years, of Bogalusa; two sons, Rusty Sharp and his wife Diane of Bogalusa, and Jeffery Sharp and his wife Paula of Bogalusa; two daughters, Samantha Penton and her husband Kenneth of Bogalusa, and Fran Perry and her husband Leon of Franklinton; and one sister-in-law, Tamara Magee of Bogalusa. He is also survived by his seven loving grandchildren, Taylor Lott, Gavin Goings, of Bogalusa, Amanda and her husband Cody Sumrall of Franklinton, Jeremy Perry of Franklinton, Dusty and Megan Sharp of Pass Christian, Miss., Beth Mizell and her husband Matt of Bogalusa, Alexandra Sharp and (Gary Pittman) of Bogalusa, and Holly Smith of Bogalusa, and Meghan Sharp of Alexandria; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Jewel and Beulah Toney Sharp, and one son, Mark Sharp.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 1 p.m. at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home Chapel in Bogalusa. Visitation will be open from 9 a.m. until the service time. Officiating will be Brother Tommy Pittman.

Interment will immediately follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Bogalusa.
