Willie Beatrice Williams Hart, lovingly referred to as “Willie B,” was born on June 5, 1944, to the late Willie and Beatrice Williams. She was third of 10 children, five of which preceded her in death — Willie Jr., John Willie (J.W.), Ernest, Linzy, and Larry.
Her pursuit for a relationship with Christ started at an early age at Midway Church of Christ Holiness, U.S.A., attending Sunday School and HYPU. She was an active member of the Christian Women Willing Workers, sang in the choir, and a dedicated usher until her health began to fail.
She attended Folsom Rosenwald and Washington Parish High School. After the last of her five children entered school, Willie B. started working as a Substitute Teacher and later became a Paraprofessional with the St. Tammany Parish School System, retiring after 20 years.
Willie B. leaves to celebrate her life and memory: her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, Talmadge; five children, Priscilla (Kenneth) Thomas, Tony Hart, Tammy (Chris) Lange, Melanie (Scott) Reviere, and Seretha (Robert) Flowers; siblings, Almeta (Calvin) Magee, Charles (Doris) Williams, Sarah Williams, and Marsha (Leroy) Heisser; family matriarch, Aunt Sybil Pierre; 12 grandchildren, LaTonya (Rodney), Crystalyn, Earniesha, Skylar (Mariah), Jasmine, Jared (one of Heaven’s sweetest Angels), Scott Jr., Asha, Jeremy, Janae. Lexie, and Ana; two great-grandchildren, Rodney Jr., and Logan; godson, Damien Wise; and a host of loving sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
“Good byes are meant for those who love with their eyes; because for those who love with their heart and soul, there is no such thing as good bye.”
Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Midway Church of Christ Holiness U.S.A. at 83359 Highway 25 in Folsom, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m.
Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton is in charge of the arrangements.
