The Washington Parish Fair will be open for business on a Sunday for the very first time in its history this year. The final day of the fair will be Sunday, Oct. 20.

The executive committee wants to reassure fair-goers that it will still be a full day of the fair experience.

The day will begin at the main stage with Potter’s Wheel performing at 10 a.m., followed by The Garcias. There will also be three guest speakers as well.

The midway will open at noon and the afternoon entertainment includes Clifton Brown at 1 p.m. and the Molly Ringwalds at 3 p.m.

Fair officials encourage everyone to keep the fair spirit going until it officially closes Sunday evening, Oct. 20.
