Charles Henry Mitchell, a lifelong resident of Bogalusa, passed away at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, on Sept. 23, 2019, at the age of 58. He was born in Bogalusa on Sept. 24, 1960.

He is survived by his mother, Florence Dillard Mitchell of Bogalusa; his brother, John (Wanita) Mitchell of Franklinton; and two sisters, Rebecca Hardin of Franklinton, and Carolyn Lewis of Euless, Texas. Mr. Mitchell is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Acey Mitchell Jr.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home & Crematory in Bogalusa on Thursday, Sept. 26. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until the funeral service begins at 2 p.m. The Rev. Fred Brumfield will officiate.
