Marissa Claire Barrett, 24, grew up in Poplarville, Miss., for most of her life. She was born in New Orleans, on July 19, 1995. She passed away unexpectedly in Hammond on Sept. 7, 2019.

She is the daughter of Michael Barrett and the late Kim “Mese” Barrett; and the sister of Chelsey Barrett, Alex Barrett, and Victoria Wagner. Marissa had a gypsy soul and loved with her whole heart.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at White’s Funeral Home in Poplarville on Tuesday, Sept. 17, with visitation starting at 2 p.m. and the memorial service starting at 3 p.m.
