Washington Parish meets Washington, D.C.

U.S. Sen. Dr. Bill Cassidy requested for a special U.S. flag to fly over the Capitol building in Washington, D.C., on March 6, in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of Washington Parish.

Cassidy also commented on the U.S. Senate floor about the parish’s founding and history, and his remarks were entered into the official Congressional Record.
