Mr. Odeal Pittman, a resident of Franklinton, departed this life at the age of 89 on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019. He was born Nov. 22, 1929.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a wife, Bronis Pittman; one daughter, Janis Johnson (Donald Ray); three sons, Kevin Pittman, Randy Pittman and Timmy Pittman; one sister, Erma L. Magee; and relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sweet Rest Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1811 Desmare St. in Franklinton, and the funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. The Rev. Norwest Hills Jr. will officiate.

Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Franklinton is in charge of arrangements. Services are incomplete.
