Ja’Keithon Cotton

Ja’Keithon Breshard Cotton was born Aug. 26, 1993 to Valarie V. Cotton in Bogalusa. He departed this life on Aug. 9, 2019, at 25 years of life.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Valerie V. Cotton; two sisters, Lasysha Cotton and Ariana (Antonio) Cotton of Bogalusa; three nieces, Kylah Dillon, Anyri Carson, and Kylie Alexander of Bogalusa; grandparents, Shondra Causey, Rhonda Cotton-Arinde and Alfredia James of Bogalusa; two uncles, Anthony (Carletta) Hall of Slidell, and Cullie (Amy) Cotton of Bogalusa; three aunts, Tricia (Rickey) Conerly of Franklinton, Cullene T. Cotton of Shreveport, and Auntania (Darrell) Self of Bogalusa; god-mother, Wanda Matthews of Bogalusa; god-sisters, Candid Scott and Bria Scott of Lacombe, and Courtney Matthews and Patricia Campbell of Bogalusa; one god-brother, Jhamarrick Campbell of Bogalusa; and a host of great-uncles, great-aunts, cousins, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 23, at Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church in Bogalusa, from 9 a.m. until noon, followed by the funeral services at noon. The Rev. Raymond Mims, pastor, will be officiating.

Interment will be in Bogalusa Cemetery.
