Easter Frances Gaiser, a native of New Orleans, and a longtime resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Sunday morning, July 28, 2019, surrounded by her loving family at the home of her daughter at the age of 67.

She is survived by her son, Richard Thomas Gaiser Jr. of Bogalusa; daughter, Julia Kathleen (Truiet) Hyde of Bogalusa; four grandchildren, Richard Gaiser III, Isabella Johnson, Hayden Gaiser, and Dontae Smith, all of Bogalusa; sisters, Bonnie (Dewayne) Ladner of Bogalusa, Cathy (Harry) Nobles of Bogalusa, and Brenda Morgan of Bogalusa; and a special friend, Mary Truvillion of Bogalusa. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 16 years, Richard Thomas Gaiser Sr.; parents, Robert and Lela Lee; and brothers, Richard Baker and Raymond Baker.

A Memorial Service was held at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Bogalusa on Monday, Aug. 5, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Scott Oxner officiating. Burial will be private.
