Helen Hart-Daniels, 94, was born on Dec. 13, 1924 in Franklinton, and departed this life on Aug. 6, 2019.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Jeardine Daniels-Sparks of New Orleans, and Jacqueline Daniels of Franklinton; three sons, Melvin Daniels, Jerry Daniels, both of Franklinton, and Leanon Daniels of Syracuse, N.Y.; three sisters, Catherine Foster of New Brunswick, N.J., Margie (Alvin) McGary of Brandon, Fla., and Joyce (James) Jackson of Folsom; one brother, Donnie R. (Marilyn) Hart of New Orleans; 33 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, McCauley Hart Sr. and Althea Hart-Magee; husband, Nathaniel Daniels; four sisters, Lorraine Daggins, Elvira Hudson, Lillian Jordan, and Luvenia Hart; three brothers, McCauley Hart Jr., Ruesaw Lanell Hart, and Mitchell Hart; one daughter, Anevenet Daniels-Jonhson; and four sons, Nathan Daniels Jr., Jural Daniels, Charles E. Daniels, and Larry Daniels.

Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 16, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Family hour will be from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Crain & Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

Funeral service will be Saturday, Aug. 17, at 1 p.m. at Friendship Church of God in Christ with Superintendent Benson Magee, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at the Daniels Cemetery.
