Herbert Keaton Bush, a native and longtime resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Tuesday morning, July 16, 2019, at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans, at the age of 73. He worked a long time in the food, beverage, and entertainment industry in New Orleans.

He is survived by his son, Keaton Bush of Slidell; his daughter, Dr. Stephanie Jane Bush of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; one brother, Thomas Bush Jr. of Bogalusa; and one grandchild, Keaton Knailer Knight Bush of Diamondhead, Miss.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Zoie Bush Sr.; and his siblings, Nathan Bush and Catherine Bush Perry.

Services celebrating Mr. Bush’s life will be held in the chapel at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home and Crematory in Bogalusa on Wednesday, July 24. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be private at a later date.
