Tony Passman

Tony Joseph Passman, 49, a resident of rural Franklinton, passed away Friday, June 28, 2019, at his home. He worked for Stewart Pallet Company for many years and was employed there at the time of his death. Tony was a hard worker and was always willing to help others with whatever work that needed to be done.

He was a good person with a kind heart. Tony loved his animals and loved hunting and the outdoors as well. He was a member of the District 3 Volunteer Fire Department. Tony was loved by his family and so many friends and will be missed by all. Though he had a hearing and speech impediment, he is in a place now where he can hear and have conversations with all his loved ones.

Tony is survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, numerous other family members and friends, including a special friend Pearl Stewart.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents Willard Passman and Rita Mae Rowell Passman; a brother, Willard Scott Passman; and infant brother, George Scottie Passman.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home on Friday, July 5, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 6. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 6, with Elder Duane Ball, Elder Donnie Broom and Elder Burdette Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Acy’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Billy Passman, Brian Passman, Kent Passman, Russell Passman, Dudley Nielson and Byron Brumfield. Honorary pallbearers will be W.C. Creel, Hershel Creel, Mark Stewart, Bruce Nielson and Bobby Smith.
