Mrs. Estella Speights was born on Aug. 12, 1942, in Sandy Hook, Miss., to the late Will Harry and late Maudell Peters. She departed this life on June 19, 2019, at 76 years of age at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa.

She is survived by one brother, William (Geraldine) Harry of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Gloria (Bubba) Peters and Willena Jones, both of Bogalusa; two daughters, Sylva Henry and Makayla Speights; one son, Allen (Stank) Henry III, all of Bogalusa; four grandchildren, Shaun McGowan, Chequietta Henry, Irene (Chris) Harris and Williams McGowan, all of Bogalusa; great-grandchildren, KeKe, Reshard, Jazz, Dallas, Daysha, Tayta Red, Mississippi, Round Head, Bright Eye, Kunt, Harmonee, Bob, Head, Pig, Mae, William and Meme; and great-great grandchildren; RJay, T.J., Sincere, Ayana, Eithan, Miracle, Alante, Yoshi, and Precious; and also other kids that she loved as her own, Pune, Minkey, John, Sam, Stank, Sylvia, Sly, Whit, Lee and Gard; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Will Harry; mother, Maudell Peters; one sister; one great-granddaughter, Melodies McGowan; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Friday, June 28, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Family Hour from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa. The Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 29, at Crain and Sons at 2 p.m., with Elder Victor Robinson officiating.

Interment will be in Sunlight Cemetery in Sandy Hook, Miss.
