Mrs. Marion “M.L.” Hart was born in Washington Parish on April 29, 1929. She passed peacefully on May 31, 2019, at Riverside Medical Center.

She is survived by her children: six daughters and one son-in-law, Linda Blackburn of Las Vegas, Nev., Donna and Auburn Nunnery of Kenner, Marion Hart of Atlanta, Ga., Donna K. Hart of Atlanta, Shirley Hart of Franklinton, and Joella Hart of Franklinton; four sons, Donald Ray Hart of Atlanta, Clarence Hart of Atlanta, Raymond Hart of Franklinton, and Lonnie Hart of Inglewood, Calif.; 55 grandchildren; 95 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She also leaves behind a special grandson she raised and called her own, Charlie Lester Jr. of Franklinton; and a special niece, Ella Rose Bickham of Franklinton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Lennard Hart Sr.; a daughter, Carrie Marie Hart; two sons, Clinton Hart and Lenard Hart Jr.; and a granddaughter, Gentorica Wright.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 14, at Winan United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. with the services beginning at 11 a.m. with Pastor Anice Moses officiating. Interment will follow in the Hart-Martin Cemetery.
