Alfred Warren Sr. made his transition on Friday, May 24, at his home in New Orleans. He was born on Aug. 1, 1953.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Marie Warren, which whom he was married to for 47 years. He believes behind two sons, Alfred Warren Jr. of Baton Rouge, and Terrence Warren Sr. of New Orleans; a daughter-in-law, Celathia Patterson of New Orleans; three grandchildren, Alfred Warren III of Houston, Texas, Alathia Patterson of New Orleans, and Terrence Warren Jr. of New Orleans; and one great-granddaughter, Anaya Warren of Houston.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 1, at Greater Hayes Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Public viewing was from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Officiating over the service was conducted by Pastor Jerome Warren Sr.

Cook-Richmond Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
