Winston Tony Ramirez Sr., 72, passed away on May 26, 2019, at his residence in Jonesville. He served two tours in Vietnam while in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Winona Ott Ramirez of Jonesville; three sons, Winston Tony Ramirez Jr. of Summit, Miss., Daniel Paul Honeycutt of St. Francisville, and Edward Honeycutt of Hessmer; daughters, Staci Michelle Bergeron of Franklinton and Delana Rene Honeycutt of Zachary; one sister, Charlene Richord of Bogalusa; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Toney and Mamie “Gus” Ramirez; and a grandchild, Dustin Paul Honeycutt.

Visitation was held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Friday, May 31, from 10 a.m. until time for service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, with military rites conducted by American Legion Post #24.
