Thomas “Paul” Bennett, 49, of Bogalusa was given the gift of eternity on May 20, 2019. An avid outdoorsman, his favorite place was Pearl River. He could fix almost anything and had a heart as big as his stature. Those who knew the real Paul loved him. He was a friend, a helper, a troubled soul. God saw his need and granted him mercy and grace.

He is survived by his two precious sons, William Zack Bennett and Bryce Patrick Bennett; his sister, Mecy (Jeff) Kelly; and his parents, Pat and Pete Bennett. He also leaves his adored niece, LaChee (Christopher) Morgan; and his dearly loved nephew, Jeffery Kelly. In addition, his three great-nephews and great-niece, who were ever in his heart.

There will be no services, per his wishes. There was a private family viewing held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home & Crematory before his cremation.
