Rev. Kent Lynch

The Rev. Kent Lynch entered into eternal rest on May 27, 2019, at the age of 74 at his residence in Bogalusa. He was born on Nov. 29, 1944 in Hazelhurst, Miss.

Rev. Lynch married Mary Louise Davis Lynch and to this union three children were born — two sons, Kenny Lynch and Oscar Lynch, and one daughter, Kimberly Lynch,

He came to Bogalusa after servicing his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He was employed with Entex Gas Company for 38 years. He also attained his Ph.D. from Christian Bible College of Southwest Louisiana. He was assistant pastor of Harry’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Bogalusa.

Visitation is Friday, May 31, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Crain and Sons in Bogalusa. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 1, at 2:30 p.m. at Harry’s Chapel United Methodist Church at 590405 Mitchell City Road in Bogalusa.
