Deputies with the Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office (SFM) are investigating a Saturday night fire involving one death in Washington Parish, according to SFM officials.

SFM officials said that Washington Parish Fire District No. 9 firefighters responded to a camper trailer fire call in the 39000 block of Tate Road in Mt. Hermon around 9:30 p.m. Saturday night.

One victim was discovered on the scene.
