Angie O’Bryant

Angie A. O’Bryant, 96, resident of Bogalusa, La, passed away on May 16, 2019 at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa. She was born in Logtown, Miss. on June 1, 1922 and worked many years as a nurse at Charity Hospital in Bogalusa before she retired.
Angie is survived by nephews Tommy O’Bryant, Donald Parks, Charlie Parks, and Norman Parks; a son-in-law: Reggie Necaise; a grandson Connor Necaise and a great grandson Kramer Stuart.
She is preceded in death by her husband Delois O’Bryant, her daughter Thalia Necaise, a grandson Jason Necaise, a brother Sam Carpenter, sisters Thelma Parks, Melvina Brooks, Alberta Corkern, and her parents Leander M. and Melvina Ellerman Carpenter.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 4:30 pm on Saturday May 18, 2019 at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa. Rev. Patrick Magee will officiate the service.
