Charles Dillon

Mr. Charles Ray Dillon passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at the age of 77 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. His passion in life was hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Mr. Charles Ray was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by three daughters, Karen McMichael of Bogalusa, Penny Held of Covington, and Pamela Maag of River Ridge; one step-son, Billy E. Thomas Jr., of Bogalusa; one nephew, Wayne Dillon; two nieces, Angela Stogner and Naomi Hoyt; six grandchildren, Clayton McMichael, Lakresia Cole, Lauren Held, Cole Held, Tanner Maag and Sarah Grace Maag; and one great-grandchild, Lillie Grace Cole. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

Charles Ray is preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Wheat Dillon; parents, Tulus and Dorothy Corkern Dillon; and one brother, Michael Dillon.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Saturday, May 11, at 3 p.m., with Pastor Matt Donley officiating. Visitation was held on Friday, May 10, at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday, May 11, after 8 a.m. and until the service time. Interment will immediately follow at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa.
