Angela Brogden

Angela Theresa Margiotta Brogden, 49, passed away on April 5, 2019, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, N.C. She was a native of Bogalusa. Theresa was a registered nurse and also worked as a substitute teacher in the Wayne County public school system.
She is survived by two sons, Adam and Jeremy Brogden of North Carolina; mother, Geraldine “Jeri” McDonald Margiotta of North Carolina; father, Arnold Duke Hewber of Florida; ex-husband and friend, Thurman Brogden of North Carolina; three step-siblings, Rhonda Sumrall Zarkis of Colorado, Justin Sumrall of North Carolina, Stephanie Sumrall of North Carolina; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde and Vera McDonald; and four uncles, Gerald, Roger and Charles McDonald and Danny Wayne Garner.
A wake was held for Theresa in Goldsboro, North Carolina on April 11. Afterwards, in accordance with her wishes, she was cremated and will be buried in her hometown community.
A graveside memorial service will be held for Theresa on Saturday, May 18, at 2 p.m. at the Gerald Cemetery, located on Highway 1070 in Pine. Brother Richard Magee will officiate the service. Family and friends are invited to attend.
