Funeral service for Earnestine B. Bell, 79, will be held at Mary’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Varnado on Monday, May 6, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Lawrence Young officiating.
Burial will follow in the Robinson Memorial Cemetery, with Cook-Richmond Funeral Home directing.
Earnestine was called home to glory on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at 3:45 p.m. The news of Earnestine Bell passing rippled through the community on Saturday afternoon. Nearly everyone expressed shock that the energetic, loving, and kind-hearted 79-year-old who everyone had grown to love had received her wings. Earnestine had touched the lives of many and all who knew her know that she loved helping anyone that needed a helping hand, and she will be truly missed and loved by many.
She is survived by her daughters, Jacquelyn Butler (Charlie) of Dallas, Texas, and Katie Bell of Angie; son, Rentis J. Garrett, also of Angie; grandchildren, Charly Butler and Luther Butler of Dallas, De’Ellis Johnson and Desmond Johnson of Shreveport, Jeffrey Garrett Jr. and Tonya Fountain of Sandy Hook, Miss., Johnny Harry Jr. and Tiffany (Chris) Harris of Angie; sisters, Clotial Jackson (John) of Angie, Clementine Galloway (Lorell) of Sandy Hook; brother, Ellis Burrell Jr. (Louise) of Angie; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
