Mr. Willie Singleton Jr. passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019, at the age of 59 at Riverside Medical Center. He was born to Willie Singleton Sr. and Essie Singleton on Jan. 7, 1960.

Mr. Singleton leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Essie Singleton of Franklinton; a daughter, Brittany Bickham of Franklinton; four brothers, Ricky Singleton of Franklinton, Fredrick Singleton and Timothy Singleton, both from Tacoma, Wash., and Chris Singleton of Seattle, Wash.; four sisters, Barbara Garrett of Ontario, Calif., Betty Bradley of Tacoma, Wash., Joyce Singleton of Portland, Ore., and Cathy Muse of Amite; and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Singleton Sr.; and one sister, Elizabeth Lewlend.

Visitation will take place on Friday, April 19, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home, located at 2000 Washington St. in Franklinton. The funeral services will be held Saturday, April 20, at noon at St. John Temple, 425 T.W. Barker Drive in Franklinton, with Pastor Esco Burton officiating and Elder Jacob Tate Sr.

The internment will be at Lear Hill Cemetery in Franklinton.
