William Bolton departed this earth on March 7, 2019. He was born to the late Emma and Cleve Bolton in Bogalusa, on Dec. 15, 1944.

William loved to garden, hunt and tend to his flock. He loved to be out in nature even after his stroke; he never stopped moving.

William is preceded in death by this mother and father, Emma and Cleve Bolton Sr.; and his siblings, Ruby Montgomery, Helen Bolton Jefferson, Willie J. Bolton, Clara Harden Bolton and Rose Marie Hall Bolton.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his son, William Bolton II; brother and care giver, Cleve Bolton; sister and brother-in-law, Raye Mell and Rodus Toomer of Franklinton; niece, Diane Craft; godson, Jamal Payne; and a host of nieces, nephews and close family friends.
