Ezra Williams

Ezra M. Williams, 65, passed away on March 9, 2019, at his home in Sandy Hook, Miss. He succumbed to pancreatic cancer after six months on hospice. Ezra opted for quality over quantity and started hospice on diagnosis.
He was preceded in death by his father, Modez Williams; his mother, Hattie Owens Williams; his brother, Bradley Williams; and two sisters, Ruth Frazier and Leona Rivera.
Ezra left behind two children, Mickie Williams and Mindy (Justin) Baughman, all of Sandy Hook; four grandchildren, Avery Williams, Addason Ard, Ansley Baughman and Sophie Williams; several siblings, including Elude (Jean)Williams of Angie, Joyce Tuberville of Cheraw, Helen Freeman of Angie, Neva (William) Heubel of Waldheim and Elizabeth Williams (widow of Bradley Williams) of Pensacola, Fla.; special nieces and nephews, including James (Hope) Williams of Foxworth, Colton and Blake Fornea of Angie, Paige(Mike) Garic of Bogalusa, Patricia (Jimmy) Berry of Sandy Hook, and Michael (Leslie) Berry of Sandy Hook; and a lifelong friend, Ricky Barber of the Thomas community.
As many may know, Ezra was known for his love of food, family, hard work and fun. He requested no funeral services but a celebration of life with family and friends. His body will be cremated and buried next to his mother and father in Angie.
