Mrs. Frankie Sandifer, 90, of Bogalusa, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 7, 2019.

Frankie worked many years ago at Crown Zellerbach Bag Division (Multiwall) and B Bennett.

Frankie is survived by two daughters, Barbara Sandifer Jones of Franklinton, and Brenda (Cecil) Ford of Varnado; six grandchildren, Megan (Randall) Taylor of Stateline, Stephanie (Herbert) Talley of Franklinton, Brent Lott of Varnado, Michael (Lisa) Jones of Franklinton, Cathy (Laris) Breaux of Florida, Carol (Keith) Martin of Lacombe, and Billy (Terri) Jones of Franklinton; great-grandchildren, Treat (Amber) Magee of Thomas, Allie (Vincent) Chipman of Tylertown, Miss., Tristan Magee of Stateline, Aydin, Coltyn and Anya Talley of Franklinton, Michael Jones Jr. of Franklinton; step-grandchildren, Laken (William) Stogner of Pine, Hannah and Harrison Martin of Lacombe, Kinley, Kade and P Mite Jones of Franklinton; great-great-grandchildren, Hayden and Kinsley Magee, and Nathaniel Chipman; step-great-great-grandchildren, Lily and Emily Stogner, and Levi Chipman; and many nieces, nephews and wonderful family members.

Frankie was the beloved wife of the late Marvin Sandifer; sister to the late Lee Spears, Dottie Sue Freeman, Johnny Merle Seal and Ruthie Mae McDaniel; and daughter of Chalmers and Allie Spears.

Visitation will be held at Brown McGehee Funeral home in Bogalusa on Sunday, March 10, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., with funeral services held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 11. Graveside service will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.

Bro. Chad Jenkins will be officiating, and assisted by Bro. Donnie Broom. Pallbearers will be Herbert Talley, Treat Magee, Robert Earl Spears, Keith Martin, Ed Jenkins and Shane Crain. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Jones, Brent Lott, Randall Taylor and Tristan Magee.
