A Bogalusa man and his wife were arrested Monday and charged with sexual crimes against a victim under the age of 13, according to Maj. D. Ray Phelps of the Bogalusa Police Department.

Phelps said that Adam Wright, 47, of Avenue G, was charged with two counts of sexual battery of a juvenile under the age of 13, and one count of principal to oral sexual battery of a victim under the age of 13. He said that Jennifer Wright was charged with one count of oral sexual battery of a victim under the age of 13.

Phelps said that both suspects were transported to the Washington Parish Jail on Monday afternoon, pending bond.
