Gregory Allen Stringer, born Sept. 29, 1959, passed away Feb. 15, 2019.

Mr. Stringer worked for many years at F.L. Crain. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved being outdoors. Gregory was a loving person and a member of Varnado Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by one son, Logan Crain; one brother, Billy Earl Stringer and wife Tera; one granddaughter, Lylah Marie Crain; and also survived by Claudia Gail Morris and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbur and Sarah Pierce Seal; and his parents, Walter Earl and Betty Marie Stringer.

Funeral services were held at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Tuesday, Feb. 19. Interment was at Seal Cemetery in Varnado.
