Mr. Duryl A. Johnson passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, at the age of 69.

Duryl is survived by three sons, Chad Blackwell of Angie, Joseph Johnson and his wife Benetha of Bogalusa, and Daryl Yott of Minnesota; two daughters, Kathy Glover of Bogalusa, and Kayla Byod of New Orleans; one brother, Julius Johnson Jr. of Bogalusa; one sister, Virginia Louis Atohley of Pine; and seven grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Mable Johnson Sr.; and one brother, Jerry Johnson.

Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend funeral services on Thursday, Feb. 21, at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home at noon. Visitation began at 10 a.m. and continued until service time. Interment immediately followed at Ponemah Cemetery. The Rev. Pete Underwood officiated.
