Wyntar Ratliff

Wyntar Chuntal Ratliff departed this life on Feb. 14, 2019, at the age of 39 at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Brian and Brandon Jenkins of Bogalusa; a mother who loved her dearly, Threntha Lynn Ratliff (Severin) Etienne and her father Leon Lundie; her grandparents, Royan and Brenda Burris of Bogalusa; two sisters, Antoria Ratliff of Franklinton, and Temika Ratliff of Avondale; numerous aunts and uncles, Maxine Bearden, of New Orleans, Allan(Tonya) Ratliff of Hammond, Darlene(Sherman)Wilkerson of Bogalusa, Sonya Noil of Portland, Ore., Cloreinda Augusta of Cordova, Tenn., Rodrick (Letha) Ratliff of Prarieville, Shawn (Jeff) Simon of Bogalusa, Dawn (Robert) Davis of Florida, Terry (Joyce) Buchanan and Latoi (Wayne) Perkins, both of Baton Rouge; along with a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bertha Ratliff; and her daughter, Brenna Jenkins.

A home-going celebration will be held on Saturday, Feb. 23, at noon in the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa. Pastor Steven Turner of Pentecostal Missionary Baptist Church of Memphis, Tenn., will officiate the service. Her earthly body will be laid to rest in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
