Michael Dyson

Mr. Michael Kebbin Dyson passed away at the age of 65 on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, at Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton. He was born to the union of the late Hubert and Arabella Watson Dyson on July 31, 1953.

Michael was a graduate of Franklinton High School. He enjoyed fishing and listening to his favorite music collection.

He was employed by Pool Lumber Company in Covington, for over 30 years.

He was married to Debra Bell Dyson and to this union two daughters were born. He was later married to Christine Crosby Dyson, and to this union no children were born.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving daughters, Doris Arabella (Oliver) Dawson of Ponchatoula, and Charity Candice Dyson of Atlanta, Ga.; two sons, Scottie Sherod (Shamia) Bell of Lubbock, Texas, and Kawalski Washington of Atlanta; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his brothers, Doyle Dyson of Angie, Charles (Priscila) Dyson Sr. of Bogalusa, and LaBlonce (Beverly) Dyson of Franklinton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held at Plainview Church of Christ Holiness on Friday, Feb. 22, from 10 a.m. until noon, with a funeral service to follow at noon with Elder Albert Brumfield, pastor, and Elder Bernard Dyson, eulogist.
