Kenneth Jenkins

Mr. Kenneth Wilson Jenkins passed away, Monday, Feb. 11, 2019, at the age of 67, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. Kenneth was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

Mr. Jenkins is survived by his wife, Sharon Kay Newman Jenkins of Bogalusa; three sons, Kenneth Wilson Jenkins Jr. of Metairie, Michael Allen Jenkins and his wife Angela of Foxworth, Miss., and Jeremy Scott Jenkins and his wife Brittany of Bogalusa; one brother, Billy Ray Jenkins and his wife Mary of Bogalusa; two sisters, Verda Mae Pierce of Angie, and Neva Marie Freeman and her husband J.D. of Isabel; seven grandchildren, Jordon, Brett, Laken, Clayton, Preston, Gracie and Paisleigh; and a special friend of the family, Gary Genco.

Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Neva Jenkins; two nephews, Ricky Evin Bates Jr., and Raymond Adam Morrison; mother-in-law, Peggy Joan Newman; father-in-law, Murrell James “Doc” Newman; and one niece, Sherry Byrd.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Services on Friday, Feb. 15, at 1 p.m., at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 14, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Interment will immediately follow at New Hope Cemetery in Crossroads, Miss., with Elder Doyle Ball officiating.
