The Varnado High School administration, staff and student body will honor the Mighty VHS Class of 1975 for this year’s Black History Program. The school will also acknowledge former administration and staff who were employed at VHS during the 1974-1975 school year.

The Class of 1975 was the first class to graduate from Varnado after the merger of Angie, Wesley Ray, and Varnado High Schools — uniting as one high school for the Angie, Live Oak, State Line and Varnado communities.

f you know of anyone who was a member of this class or who was an employee during that school year, please share this information with them. This special event will be held on Friday, Feb. 22.

Breakfast will be provided for the honorees beginning at 8 a.m., and the program will begin at 9 a.m.
