Sharon McNeese

Sharon Vanita McNeese passed away peacefully on Monday evening, Jan. 21, 2019, at home with her family by her side. After a long battle with cancer, she died at the age of 39. Sharon was born in Tylertown, Miss., and lived in Bogalusa for most of her life.

She loved her church activities and being with her church family, as well as going camping with her son and being with her friends at Nellie Byers Training Center in Bogalusa.

She was the loving mother to her only son, Isaiah McNeese; sister of Jamie McNeese (wife) Jenny, Christopher McNeese (wife) Aundra and Sandra McNeese; step-sister to Russell and Timothy Holden; and devoted daughter of Chess and Debbie McNeese.

Sharon leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and a special friend, Charles Keating, who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by Richard Holden, Sheri Morris, and her grandparents, Chess and Gladis McNeese, Louis and Murial Hall, and Alton and Kathleen Morris.

Her Memorial Service and Celebration Of Life will be held at Highland Baptist Church in Bogalusa on Highway 21 North on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 11 a.m.

Her family would especially like to thank Encompass Hospice and all the kind staff who took such great care of Sharon throughout her time of need.
