Rachel Gillis departed this life unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 14, 2019 at the age of 47. A longtime resident of New Orleans’ North Shore, Rachel spent many rewarding years in the real estate and hospitality industries.

She will be remembered fondly by survivors for her generosity, love of animals, and wry sense of humor.

Rachel is survived by her life partner, Marc Pellettiere; her siblings, John, Leah, Bart, and Jennifer; and her beloved canine companion, Tank.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa.
