Kerrie B. Branch, 59, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa. She was born in Tupelo, Miss., on March, 9, 1959, and was a resident of Angie. She was also a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Bogalusa.

Kerrie is survived by her husband of 41 years, Terry Glen Branch Sr. of Angie; daughter, Shonda Smith of Angie; grandson, Ashton Smith of Angie; her father, George Thomas Bates Jr.; three brothers, Tommy E. Bates, Ricky E. Bates Sr., Jimmy E. Bates, all of Bogalusa.

She is preceded by her mother, Millie V. Bates; a son, Terry Glen Branch Jr.; and her twin brother and sister, David Eric and Laurie Ellen Bates.

Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 17, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. The Rev. Red Kennedy will officiate and interment will follow at Seal Cemetery in Varnado.
