Four Bogalusa men were taken into custody Sunday, after Bogalusa police officers and other law enforcement officials investigated a residence and found evidence of drug-related activity.

Officer Stephen Stephano, of the Bogalusa Police Department, said that those arrested were Demarius Holmes, 34, Kevin Robertson, 34, Benjamin Holmes, 28, and Travell Graves, 23. The four suspects were charged with distribution of cocaine, distribution of heroin, distribution of marijuana, distribution of tramadol, distribution of hydrocodone, distribution of suboxone, distribution of promethazine with codeine, manufacturing of crack cocaine, illegal carrying of firearms while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stephano said that he and Officer Seals, along with their supervisors from the Bogalusa Police Department A Shift and deputies from the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at 710 E. Fifth St. in Bogalusa, at approximately 5 p.m. Sunday.

Stephano said that this warrant was executed after a month-long investigation involving “two known drug dealers.” He noted that this work encompassed both normal work hours and overtime hours.

“We conducted surveillance of a location, based on information we had that it was a known drug house,” Stephano said.

  • a .22 caliber rimfire rifle.
