Lela Miley Davis, 90, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa.

Lela is survived by her sons Albert (Lachrisia) Davis Jr. of Bogalusa, Joe (Robin) Davis Sr. of Bogalusa, and Donald (Teresa) Davis Sr. of Pine; her daughters, Marketta (Jim) Burdette of Bogalusa, and Nan (Paul) Herrington of Pine; her grandchildren, Jimbo Burdette, Jennifer Burdette, Jonathan Burdette, Sterling Burdette, Elisha Winstead, Katherine Herrington, Tucker Lee, Devon Davis, Danielle Davis, Joe Davis Jr., Ashley Davis, Donald Davis Jr. and Leslie Davis; numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lon and Eliza Adams Miley; her husband, Albert Davis Sr.; children, Sue Spears and Eddie Davis; grandsons, Bubba Gillis, Shawn Powell, Earon Davis; brothers Joe Miley, Ardis Miley, B.J. Miley, Houston Miley, Martin Miley and Ezra Miley; and sisters, Lorena Pierce and Leola Facundus.

Visitation was Monday, Dec. 24, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, beginning at 9 a.m and remaining open until the funeral service at noon in the chapel. The Rev. Larry Lassley and the Rev. Kelly Penton officiated and interment followed at Lon Miley Cemetery in Bogalusa.
