Mrs. Kathy Lynn Blackburn passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at the age of 58. She was of the Baptist faith. She taught school through the St. Tammany Parish School System for 25 years.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Robert Blackburn of Bush; one sister, Patricia Hyman of Talisheek; two nieces; one nephew; and one great-niece.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lamar Friend Brewer.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend services at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 27. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Interment will immediately follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Bogalusa.
