Ms. Mae Etta Hathorne was born June 25, 1941, in Prentiss, Miss. She was called home on Dec. 19, 2018.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Hathorne of Bogalusa, and a special friend, Lash Brice of Bogalusa; her sisters, Elma Flowers of Oakland, Calif., Dixie Ree Hathorne of Prentiss, and Mattie Mae Hathorne of Bogalusa; a brother, Frank Janies Hathorne of Prentiss; and seven nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Walter Hathorne, and mother, Marie Hathorne; and one brother, Willie James Hathorne.

The memorial service will be held at a later place and date.
