Ms. Hilry J. Dykes passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Franklinton, at the age of 76.

She is survived by one son, Russell Kevin Dykes of Pearl River; one daughter, Kimberly S. Heagle of Bogalusa; two sisters, Glenda Smith of Bogalusa, and Myrna Cotton of Sun; one granddaughter Amanda Dykes of Pearl River; and two great-grandchildren, Noah White and McKenzie White.

Hilry is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Dykes; parents, James T. and Hilda Jones; and one brother, James Floyd Jones.

Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend visitation on Thursday, Dec. 13, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m., at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa. Visitation resumed on Friday, Dec. 14, after 8 a.m. until the service time at 2 p.m.

Interment immediately followed at Pierce Cemetery in Sun.
