Kenneth Alford

Mr. Kenneth Brian Alford departed this life at the age of 54 on Nov. 17, 2018, in Sikeston, Mo. He was born Oct. 5, 1964, to Mr. Lovell Alford and Mrs. Jessie Mae Banks Alford in Bridgeport, Conn.

Kenny went to Bridgeport public schools and loved to drive trucks. He was in the U.S. Army/Army National Guard and also served as a correctional officer in Louisiana.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories: father, Mr. Lovell Alford; mother, Mrs. Jessie Alford of Bogalusa; his twin brother, Leonard Alford (Carmen) of Stratford, Conn.; sisters, Leslie Adams of Baltimore, Md., Viola Alford of Gautier, Miss., Ethel Willis (Kenneth) of Elms, N.C., Pearlie Alford of Bogalusa, Shelly Henderson of Charlotte, N.C., Jo Anna Alford of Bridgeport; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a dear friend, Janet Costen of Melbourne, Fla.; two childhood friends better known as our brothers, Harold Clark and Erie Thompson, both of Bridgeport; and god-brother and sister, Mr. Kenneth and Mrs. Jerry Peters of Bogalusa.

He was preceded in death by his brother, LaVerna Alford; and sister, Deborah Alford.

The memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 15, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa at noon, with the Rev. Rayis Bridges officiating.
