The Bogalusa City Council has called a special meeting for Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 5:30 p.m. at Bogalusa City Hall.

Typically, the council meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. However, the regularly scheduled meeting for Tuesday, Dec. 4, was canceled due to the lack of a quorum.

Tuesday meeting’s agenda is as follows:

• Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to accept the low bidder for AIR-PAK X3 SCBA General Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus for the Bogalusa Fire Department.
• Introduction of an ordinance approving and adopting the City of Bogalusa Operating Budget and Capital Budget for the fiscal year beginning Jan. 1, 2019.
• Public hearings and voting upon the adoption of an ordinance to amend the 2018 budget.
• Public hearings and voting upon the adoption of an ordinance to amend and re-enact Chapter 13 of the Bogalusa City Code Parks and Recreation to provide Rules for the Parks and Recreation Commission and Rules and Regulations for the use of the Park and Enforcement by the Director of Parks and Recreation.

There will also be time for public comments, as well as remarks from city administrators and council members.

The next meeting will be at its regularly scheduled time on Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 5:30 p.m.
