JoAnn Hall

JoAnn Hall, a former resident of Bogalusa and a resident of Abita Springs, passed away Monday morning, Dec. 3, 2018, at Forest Manor Nursing Home at the age of 86. She was a longtime member of Annunciation Catholic Church of Bogalusa. She was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #24.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her son, Ricky (Sandra) Hall of Bogalusa; her daughter, Linda (Chad) Lee; her two sisters, Brenda Lainer and Ruth Prats both of Abita Springs; seven grandchildren, Chris (Amanda) Hall, David Hall II, Chana Lee, John R. Bufkin III, Wendy K. Williams, Terry Ann Camp, and Robin (Doug) Simpson. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cooper L. Hall; her father, Arnold Strain; mother, Edna Strain; and her son, David E. Hall.

Father Otis Young Jr. presided over a graveside service celebrating her life at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Bogalusa on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m.
