Maxine Spencer Jordan, born Nov. 28, 1921, passed away at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa, on Nov. 20, 2018, at the age of 96.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Kathy Graham of Bogalusa; her grandchildren, Leigh Anne Graham of Bogalusa, Ryan Williams of Bogalusa, Michael Williams of Bogalusa, and Jenna Jordan of Metairie. She is also survived by her five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cullie Jordan; parents, Robert and Bertha Spencer Jr.; her son, Russell Williams; and her siblings, Mary Hutchinson, Mable Thomas, Melba Sheridan, Albert Spencer, Arnold Spencer, Alton Spencer, Richard Spencer and Carey Spencer.

The service celebrating her life was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa on Saturday, Nov. 24. The family received friends at 10 a.m., and visitation continued until the service began at 2 p.m. The Rev. Keith Sheridan officiated. Interment followed at Spencer Cemetery.
