Mrs. Bonnie Jane Hedge Pinter, 69, a resident of Louisiana, passed away on Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. Visitation was held 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and Wednesday, Nov. 21, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Leesburg Church of Christ Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mrs. Pinter was born in Wyatt, Mo., on Oct. 31, 1949. She loved her Lord and New Life United Pentecostal Church. Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her kids. She loved life and always did for everyone else before she thought of herself. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond G. Pinter; parents, Martin Hedge and Hattie Lenora Long Hedge; and siblings, Bud, Curtis, Donald, Alvin and Tommy Hedge, Rita Comstock, Betty Norman and Barbara Comans.
She is survived by her children, Teresa Westmoreland (Jessy) of Bogalusa, and Raymond G. Pinter II (Jamie) of North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Shona Westmoreland, Jeremy Westmoreland, Keaira Pinter, Zachary Pinter, Jade Pinter, Cole Meyer and Jason Meyer; three great-grandchildren, Braedon and Zoe Westmoreland and Maliyah Bardo; three sisters, Opal Comans of Pearl, Fay Coleman of Georgia and Mary Brim of Illinois; one brother, Jim Morrow of Illinois; other sons and daughters through countless years; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Hedge, David Lee Comans, Chad Comans, Dwight Pinter, Gary Pinter and Terry Pinter.
